The Dregea Fruit Pods are much softer than other woody seed pods and will not take as long to decompose. These make for an excellent snack for grazers, particularly Ancistrus (bristlenose) catfish. They provide a light tint to the water, making it easier to maintain clarity in the aquarium.
Preparation: Boil for 15 minutes, or soak in hot water overnight to sanitize and encourage sinking.
